Kids say and do the darndest things

We have had the kids do some interesting things lately..

The other night at family prayer Anna would not hold still. Afterwards when we sent her to time out, she said "My knees were marching, they can't listen to pray." while she was in time out she gave her knees a talk about being still for prayer.

Tuesday night the missionaries where over for dinner and the kids where full of it. Now Anna knows some body parts buy their technical names, like axilla(armpits), phalanges(finger and toes bones), cranium(skull) but we hadn't worked with Carter on that yet. But Peter decided to ask Carter where his cranium was, Carter promptly pointed to his diaper area and unzipped his zipper. We have since taught him where his cranium actually is.

That same evening Anna was taking about the color of her shirt. Then Peter asked her what color Elder Williams shirt was. "It's white. Hey I have white panties." To which Elder Williams turned a lovely shade of red.

We have had "unseasonably warm weather" so yesterday I put the sprinkler in the sand pit for Anna to play in. She had so much fun. I went inside for a few minutes and upon my return I found a fully naked Anna. When I asked what had happened she started crying and told me her swimsuit was dirty so she had to take it off.

Kids are so entertaining!
