At least my floor is clean

Where to begin?
Background info: For a while now Anna has been constipated. She would cry every time she went to the bathroom. So we gave her some laxatives. The only thing that changed was that she was going (or not going) to the bathroom more often. Also, we are potty-training Carter. So our bathroom has been fairly busy.

Tuesday night Susie and I did not sleep very well, since she has a stuffy nose. Even with all of this going on Wednesday morning went fairly smoothly. I was able to work out for 45 minutes. Carter only had one accident. We decided to take Anna to the doctor to see what we could do to help her out more. Luckily Peter was home and able to take her. While he did that Carter, Susie and I took a much needed nap.

I woke up at 5 with the realization that I had to be at the church in an hour for a meeting.( Now this is where it gets exciting. ) I came downstairs where once again Anna was crying in the bathroom, and wanted some apple juice. Peter had barbecued some meat but didn't know what else to do for dinner. Carter had also just gotten up from his nap. And, Susie needed to be fed. So, I Made some apple juice and put water on to boil for pasta. Carter went upstairs to go to the bathroom and put on underwear. (Anna is in the bathroom crying. Susie, being very good, needs to be fed.) I am in the kitchen I hear a crash from upstairs and Carter crying. I stop everything I am doing run upstairs. Carter has pulled over his dresser trying to get underwear. Luckily he is not hurt. Peter fixes the dresser, I go back to the kitchen. Carter comes into kitchen, takes apple juice off of the counter, because he wants some, and proceeds to dump half of it on the floor. (Anna is in the bathroom crying. Susie, being very very good, needs to be fed. Water is boiling for pasta.) I throw some towels on the floor, put the pasta in the pot send Carter to time out. It is now about 5:20. I clean up the apple juice, finish the pasta and put "dinner" on the table. (Anna is in the bathroom. Susie, being very very very good, needs to be fed. The kitchen floor is sticky.) I get out the pine-sol and the mop, eat some dinner and mop the floor. Anna comes out of the bathroom and curls up on the couch, I put Susie in her car seat and get the things I need for the meeting and mutual, and head out the door at 6:05. I feed Susie at my meeting.

It was a crazy hour but at least my floor is clean.

Isn't amazing how moms can multi-task and still manage to feed the kids and make it to a meeting. Great job handling a sticky situation.

sounds like my house. no constipation, but potty training, poops on the floor, hungry baby, crazy life!

Ahh, that all sounds so familiar. Different details but still very familiar. Life is great fun!

What a crazy hour!

Hannah went through an awful constipation stage around the age of 3. She would go 7 or 8 days without pooping, and then it hurt so badly that she was horrified to go. It last for about 6 months. It. was. awful.
