We had Easter bunny Saturday. We have converted to having the Easter bunny come Friday night. This way 1, Peter is home since he has meeting Sunday mornings, 2, the kids are not hyped up and asking for candy at church and 3, On Sunday we can focus on the true meaning of Easter our Savior Jesus Christ and the Atonement.
So this is what we did Easter Bunny Saturday.
After breakfast, we have a scavenger hunt to find the Easter basket. This is a tradition with peters family. And the kids love it. The Easter Bunny leaves clues through out the house which lead to the Easter basket. I also like this because the candy and toys are not right there right away, I can actually get some breakfast in them.
We have had this bunny for 3 years.
It sings and dances, and gets put away with
the Easter things. Susie loved it.
We went over the the Hayes house to color Easter eggs and have an egg hunt.
Carter was all about finding eggs for other kids.

I don't know what Peter was doing
but he looked pretty cool doing it.

I love that Carter was helping the other kids find eggs. What a cute kid!
We usually do a big Harker family egg hunt on Saturday also, but this year it just didn't happen. We did get together with Adam and Kim's family though and color eggs, so that kind of counts ;)
I love the Saturday idea!
Traditions are so nice!
