We hiked up Badger Mountain yesterday.
The kids did a pretty good job, there was only minimal whining.

Susie was like this most of the way up.
We saw a lot of this too.
We saw a lot of these beauties ,which I prefer overthe 4 snakes friends of ours saw earlier in the day.
Here is the view from the top of our hood.
It took us a long time to get there, but we made it to the top.

What a fun way to enjoy the weekend.
I am hiking today in the gorge with friends, guess that means summer is here right? We have prodded kids up mountains for about 11 years in our family, they do eventually start to like it and then...one day without warning, they get all the way to the top without complaining, those are the days!
