"For this child I prayed"

In this months Ensign there is a great article by President Uchtdorf about women, right before the article is this picture. This is a very beautiful picture, but it is the title that really effected me. It is called "For this child I prayed."
There are so many days where the difficulties of being a mom get to me. The days when my kids just can't seem to hear my voice, or get along, or get up multiple times a night. The days where the messes never end no matter how much you clean. The days where time out is a regular occurrence. Those are the days that I need to be reminded "For this child I prayed." I need to remember how much I prayed and wanted each of my children, and how much I wanted to be a mom and that there was never anything else I really wanted to be.Those are the days that I need to remember
For these children I Prayed

I too loved President Uctdorf's article, but I didn't see the picture because I read it online. I'm so glad that you posted this today, Janna.

Nights like last night with my children left me frustrated and exhausted. Thank you for this reminder. I did pray for each of these children, and I am so thankful for each of them.

That was a great article. I love your post too.

Your blog is so fun, I went through and read A LOT of your past posts. I think my favorite was "at least the floor was clean" oh! and the house for Polly Pocket. Your are such a cute mom :)
