Birthday Happenings

For Carter's birthday party "The Olympics". It was a lot of fun.

Each child had a country to represent

They drew their own flags and we had the opening ceremony.

We planned on having everything outside, but of course it rained. So we did indoor, discus throw, shot-put and obstacle course.

At the end everyone got to stand on the podium and receive a gold medal.

For carter's actual birthday he wanted to go bowling.

For Peter's birthday I surprised him with a trip to Leavenworth.

We stayed here at the Bavarian Lodge.

We ate dinner at King Ludwig's, which is great German food.

The accordion player got the whole restaurant to sing happy birthday to Peter. Then we had gellato and a chocolate cover Carmel apple for dessert.

The next morning we strolled main street and did some shopping.

We had a great time. It was nice to get away together.
