Yard-------------------------------------------------
I am loving my backyard right now (except for the sand pit and you will see why later). The flowers are blooming the trees are growing fruit; it is so nice. I call it my personal garden of Eden.

old crayons new crayons-------------------------
The kids and I took all of our old crayons and melted them down to make new crayons. I used ice cube trays from ikea. They turned out very cute and the kids love them. I made the red, white and blue stars for my nursery class.

Princess Anna----------------------------------
The other day Anna and carter were sitting on the couch getting ready to watch The little Mermaid. Anna and Carter had the following conversation.
Anna: Are you excited to watch Ariel? Is she your favorite princess?
Carter: No I don't like princesses.
Anna: You don't
Carter: No, except you
Anna: I am a princess!?!
Carter: Yes.
I came back in a few minutes later and they were cuddled together on the couch.
The Wall Rebuild--------------------------------
We have been having issues with the retaining wall we have in the sand pit area. Our neighbors behind us have a yard that is about 4 feet above ours. When they water, the water comes pouring through the wall and brings lots of sand with it. So, even though we had a wall and covered the sand below, the sand form behind the wall would wash through and we would have a sandpit again. So, Peter is rebuilding it.
This is the wall last year
This is Peter after he took out the 2 tons of bricks and dug the new pit.

2 days later he put all the bricks and some of the sand back in.
We need more bricks to finish the wall and Peter thought it would be a good idea to let his back rest for a while.
I would like it done soon so I can set up our pool, but since I can't help,
I have no control over when it gets done
Anna and Carter have been done with school since the 28th of last month. Anna is very much looking forward to kindergarten and Carter to another year with the lovely Miss Kim. Over this summer I decided to do some home school, just to keep things fresh and work on things that I have noticed they need help with. For the most part they like it.
Anna has been a big help to me especially with Susie. She is a great big sister and is looking forward to the new baby sister.
Carter is as sweet and cuddly as ever. He is the nicest, sweetest little boy ever. He does have his moments that drive me crazy, like when he is looking for something that he is standing on.
Susie is so much fun. She is so entertaining and fun to watch. I am constantly wishing I had a Susie-Cam to follow her around and record her.
Baby girl is doing well. She is kicking and moving around. She still has no name. I have one that I like Peter just has to get used to it or come up with something better.
So that is life here. Sorry it is so long , but like I said, I have been meaning to do this for a while.

Sounds like you have been busy. Hopefully we can squeeze in a play date at the park!
