sweet boy

As much as this boy drives me crazy sometimes, he is the sweetest boy I know. And here is a Christmas example of his sweetness. This is his letter to Santa,

"Dear Santa,

I am not going to ask you for anything for Christmas, because I want it to be a surprise. It's always a surprise. I'm making chocolate chip cookies and rice krispie treats for you. love Carter"

At his preschool program he sat on Santa's lap. Santa asked what he wanted and Carter said,"I don't care." I love that boy, I am so grateful for his easy going ways (most the time). Of course this particular Santa told carter he had to ask for something then proceeded to promise to bring him a fast train. That it would "definitely" be under the tree. He also promised a little girl that he would bring her a Barbie jeep, that she will not be getting. (I had some issues with this Santa.)

What I love is despite Santa's empty promise, Carter doesn't care what he is getting for Christmas. That's my sweet boy!
