A baby full of firsts

This is my third child you would think by now we would have things figured out. But no, alas we have had multiple firsts with our sweet little Susie.

She is the first child to have Jaundice and be on the biliblanket.

She has had her heals pricked 9 times and counting to test her Bili-Rubin levels.

The first I have had to pump with. They have had me stop nursing for a few days to see if it is something in my breast milk that is stopping her from flushing out the Bili-Rubin.

The first that we(meaning Peter) have had to give suppositories to. She has not been pooping on her own. And now we have to wait 5 days with no BM, then have a enema exam.

Some firsts that I have enjoyed, she is sleeping longer than 2 hours at a time.

Having older siblings that help. Anna gave Susie her bottle today. Anna was to little to help with Carter.
