An inspiration?

I noticed in the target add we got in the mail, under where it says "Barbie turns 50!" It also says"...Barbie is an inspiration to girls of all ages." Then beneath that there is an add for this barbie.

Barbie Totally Stylin' Tattoo Doll

Complete with halter tops and mini skirts, tattoos for her and for your daughter. Does anyone else have a problem with this kind of inspiration?

Yeah, I saw this doll the other day. Seriously? Tatoo Barbie!!! I am so glad that Hannah is no longer interested in being "inspired" by Barbie.

Oh. My. Goodness. Or the fact that at age 50 she's still looking young as ever and wearing halter tops and mini skirts?

yes I do! And hello...who on this Earth looks like a Barbie doll anyway...bad example for little girls, too bad ...I loved Barbie when I was growing up:( back when she wore like June Cleaver clothes and was a homemaker:)

I hate Barbie. She hasn't been good for years. Like 45 years. Boo for tatoo Barbie. It's akin to the t-shirts for 4 year olds that say things like "Cupcake" and "Snuggle Bunny" or "Too Sweet". My 4 year old is no street walker.

I am proud to say I've always disliked Barbie...
