What a day!

Yesterday was insane! It started out pretty good I went and got my hair done. But while I was there I got 2 texts from peter one a picture of carters room filled with smoke and another with ashes all over the kitchen floor. While attempting to boil water Peter turned on the wrong burner, he turned on the one that my cook books where laying on( I feel this is one of the down falls to flat top stoves, they get treated like counter space.) After turning on the stove Peter went up to put Susie down for her nap, while he was up there, the house filled with smoke. At first he thought it was coming from outside then he ran down to find the cook books a flame. He put out the fire, and this is what was left.

Fortunately this is one that I made and I have
most of the recipes on the computer.

Unfortunately the white one is one that
my grandma gave me for a wedding present.

Most of the recipes can be salvaged. Now you would think this would be enough crazy for one day, but oh, no it doesn't end there.
While eating lunch I cut my finger on a knife.
I took Susie to her Dr. appointment and the Dr who usually runs pretty on time was an hour late, he said that he had been running on time till right before me.
Susie had to get three shots.
My Dr doesn't have flu shots yet.
Susie decided to put a diaper in the toilet that another child did not flush.
I burnt a different finger on the stove.
Susie fell down the stairs.
I burnt my tongue on hot cider.(it still hurts)

Sufficient to say, I was a little scared to get out of bed today. But so far nothing to out of the ordinary.
